Zigbee

The Zigbee page allows you to manage the Zigbee connection of ZiggyMeter, enabling it to join your smart home mesh network for energy-efficient data reporting.

Configuration

Control the Zigbee operational state.

• Select ENABLED to turn on the Zigbee radio and allow the device to join a network. Select DISABLED to turn it off.
• UPDATE: Saves the configuration choice. This will reset the device.
• ZIGBEE RESET: Performs Zigbee reset. Removes device from current Zigbee network. Puts the device back into pairing/joining mode

Status

Displays information about the Zigbee connection once joined to a network.

• Channel: The radio frequency channel (11-26) effectively used by the network.
• Short Address: The 16-bit network address assigned to ZiggyMeter by the coordinator.
• Extended Pan Id: The 64-bit unique identifier of the Zigbee network.
• Pan Id: The 16-bit Personal Area Network identifier.

TIP

If the status fields are empty, ensure Zigbee is enabled and the device is in range of a permitting coordinator to join the network.
